The vision
Creating economic and social value for the country, through investment in cutting-edge infrastructures, able to offer mobility services that make the travel experience unique and enable the development of territories.
- Integrated lifecycle management of mobility infrastructure (research, engineering, construction, operation, maintenance)
- Innovative services to travellers, even beyond motorways
- Innovation and research applied to engineering for transformation into 'smart' infrastructure
- Sustainability at the core of value creation
- Player of excellence active in the non-captive market
Environmental Sustainability
"Green" infrastructure
- Installation of new photovoltaic plants (approximately 150 MW to be planned with Elgea on motorway sites and adjacent areas)
- Infrastructure for recharging electric vehicles (100 service areas with an average spacing of about 50 km and recharging times of 15-20 minutes)
- Reforestation of managed areas
Open Innovation
Establishment of a formal network through about 20 agreements with research institutions, universities, polytechnics, start-ups, incubators, etc.
Energy efficiency
Large portfolio of already active initiatives (e.g. installation of more than 30,000 low-power, high-performance LEDs in tunnels, plus a further approximately 14,000 LEDs at motorway junctions)
Innovation and applied research
Research and Innovation Team
Creation of permanent cross-functional teams to orchestrate the Group's innovation priorities and development funnel
Open Innovation
Establishment of a formal network with research organisations, start-ups, incubators, etc. First agreements already active: Politecnico di Milano, Elis
Internal Excellence
Movyon's transversal role (with respect to ASPI's business lines) for the research and development of proprietary projects and solutions
Delivery Plan
A structural revolution in the network's care, management and maintenance systems is expected to take place, achieved by means of a thorough renovation of the company and the implementation of new standards at national level for the medium- to long-term management of the infrastructure
Turnaround surveillance activities on works of art, entrusted to a consortium of external companies of international standing*
* Bureau Veritas, Proger, Tecnolab, Tecno PiemonteBetween 2019 and 2020, more than 19,000 inspections (bridges, viaducts, overpasses, tunnels), digital network mapping (ARGO) programme launched
