THE MAIN FIGURES OF THE PLAN
The Plan will be implemented through 300 major operational covering an overall length of over 1,000 km of noise reduction solutions. The overall surface of the facilities amounts to approximately 4,000,000 m2 with an average height of 4.2 m. The overall surface area of the noise-reduction covers is 160,000 m2.
The order of Major Works roll-out is defined by a national classification drawn up on the basis of a noise priority index created exclusively to the noise levels and population exposed.
The Plan is currently undergoing appraisal by the Environment Ministry and is awaiting approval from the joint conference which will establish the final classification of the Major Works.
