New improvement works of the motorway network

The works in progress
Below is a list of the improvement works by Autostrade per l'Italia as provided for in the Agreement with ANAS of 1997 and in the IV "Atto Aggiuntivo" of 2002 effective from June 2004, and its Subsidiaries. In addition to the construction of third and fourth lanes, provision is made for creating new exit junctions and the building and modification of the facilities of lighting, ventilation and fire-prevention systems of 466 tunnels of the network. The figures given below do not include other investments, necessary for making structural and technological improvements to the network, amounting to approximately €900 million.
